| Sales AgencyHill ‘N’ Dale offers sales consignments to all of the Toronto Sales, most major sales in Kentucky as well as the Saratoga Yearling Sale. Sales dates and sales closings are listed elsewhere on this web site. Our yearling consignments in Toronto have a long successful history (102 STAKES GRADUATES TO 7/15, 2010). The leading consignor on several occasions by gross sales, Hill ‘N’ Dale has also sold sales toppers. The greatest source of pride, however, is in selling a good horse. Our Toronto sales graduates are a who’s who in Canadian racing. Recent graduates from our Selected and Preferred consignments include - A BIT O GOLD - Horse of the Year and multiple Champion, ONE FOR ROSE - multiple Champion and horses like SHAW’S CREEK, ANGLIAN PRINCE, PERFECT SHOWER (Canadian Classic winner), RETRACEABLE, STEADY RUCKUS, and TOUCHNOW. Previous graduates include Grade 1 winner and Kentucky Derby participant GRANACUS and Canadian Oaks heroine BLONDEINAMOTEL.

Our Keeneland consignments are regularly at or near the top by gross sales and by individual success. Hill ‘N’ Dale has sold several broodmares and yearlings for in excess of $1,000,000. Hill ‘N’ Dale Kentucky set a world record for the price of a broodmare at public auction in 2007 and then smashed the record in 2008 selling BETTER THAN HONOR for $14,000,000. Having a firm understanding of the Canadian racing and breeding scene is a significant advantage to offer our clients. Dual Grade 1 winner JAMBALAYA is a Canadian bred sold by Hill 'N' Dale at the Keeneland September Sale. Other prominent Canadian bred stakes horses sold in Kentucky by Hill 'N' Dale include DAAHER - G1, and G1 and Breeder's Cup winner MARYFIELD - Eclipse Award winner. 2009 dual stakes winner EL BRUJO (by CANDY RIDE), is bred and owned by the Begg family and was a $10,000 RNA. Other prominent Canadian bred success stories include: TASTY TEMPTATION. Bred by Josham Farms and sold by Hill ‘N’ Dale Sales Agency, TASTY TEMPTATION won the $250,000 Wonder Where S. in 2009 and the Hill ‘N’ Dale S. in 2010. 2010 Clarendon S. winner SENSATIONAL SLAM was bred by Hill ‘N’ Dale Canada and sold at the 2009 Keeneland September Sale. | News: Naval Attack, making his first lifetime start, became the 102nd Toronto stakes graduate. Naval Attack was 2nd in the $150,000 Clarendon S. at Woodbine. Naval Attack (bred by Hill ‘N’ Dale Kentucky and sold by Hill ‘N’ Dale in Canada) was 2nd to SENSATIONAL SLAM who in reverse, was bred by Hill ‘N’ Dale Canada and sold by Hill ‘N’ Dale in Kentucky. Tee Game becomes stakes horse #100 for Hill ‘N’ Dale Canada when finishing 3rd in the Muskoka S. September 07, 2009. GUIPAGO - 1st Vice Regent S., (Sept. 06/09) FASTIN BEAR - 1st Simcoe S. (Sept. 07/09) are both Hill ‘N’ Dale Sales Graduates. PERFECT SHOWER and Guipago, both Hill ‘N’ Dale Canadian sales grads finished 1st and 2nd in the $500,000 Breeders S. at Woodbine on 8/02/09. TASTY TEMPTATION - a graduate of our 2007 Keeneland September consignment, won the $250,000 Wonder Where S. at Woodbine on 7/27/09. MARITIME PASSION wins the $150,000 Shady Well S. for owner Ben Hutzel and trainer Mike De Paulo. Thus far in 2009 (to 7/13), there have been 4 Canadian bred stakes horses that are graduates of our Keeneland consignments - EL BRUJO, MARITIME PASSION, Tasty Temptation, How Far Is Heaven. EL BRUJO is now 2 for 2 at Woodbine in 2009 after winning the Achievement S. Our Sales Agency got off on the right foot in 09’ when EL BRUJO and BUCEPHALOS ran 1st and 3rd in the Achievement S. at Woodbine (4/11/09). Toronto sales graduate BUCEPHALOS captured the $150,000 Clarendon S. at Woodbine Racetrack in 2008. Hill 'N' Dale Sales Agency has been the leading consignor by gross sales at the C.T.H.S. Selected Yearling Sale. Hill 'N' Dale has led all consignors in this category 8 of the last 9 years. In 2007, four C.T.H.S. Toronto sales graduates went on to win two-year-old stakes races. Sales graduate MARYFIELD - bred in Ontario by Mike Carroll and John C. Harvey, captured the G1 Ballerina S., the inaugural Breeder's Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, and won a 2007 Eclipse Award. JAMBALAYA - bred by G. Schickedanz and sold by Hill 'N' Dale Sales Agency at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, won 2 G1 stakes races in 2007.
